Three things to have ready.
That's all it takes. Your design saves as you go, and we email you a link so you can come back anytime.
Your measurements
The inside width, length (front to back) and height of each drawer, to the nearest 1/16". Round down, never up. We build the clearance in.
What's going in it
Flatware, knives, spices, cooking tools? There's a starting layout for each.
A wood in mind
Walnut, cherry or maple. You can switch anytime before you order.
From an empty drawer to your layout.
Each step matches a chapter in the walkthrough, so you can jump straight to the part you need.

02
Add your drawers
Enter each drawer's inside width, length (front to back) and height, and give it a name, like “Next to the range.” The step-by-step measuring guide is one click away.

03
Choose your wood
Walnut, cherry or maple. Your pick sets the wood for the whole order and your 3D preview, and you can switch anytime before you order.
Watch : Choose your wood -
04
Pick a starting layout
Flatware, knives, spices or cooking utensils. You'll only see layouts that fit your drawer, and they resize to your exact measurements. New to it? “Guide me through it” is a two-minute practice run.

Make it yours
Split compartments into rows or columns, drag dividers (they snap to 1/16"), even them out, mirror the layout and lock the sizes you love. The top of the screen is the back of the drawer. Undo anything.
Watch : Make it yours -
06
Label your compartments
Pick a label like Flatware, Knives or Spice Jars, or write your own. It helps you see the plan, and it tells us what each space is for.

Flatware, knives & spices
Flatware slots adjust in width and length. Set how many knives your block holds and add wider slots for chef's knives. Spice ramps tilt every jar so the label faces up, and the designer checks your clearance with you.

See it in 3D
Turn it, zoom in and see it in your wood. It's an illustrative preview: natural grain and tone vary on your finished piece.

Everything the designer can do.
Hover any tool in the designer for a quick animation of what it does. On a phone, the same tools sit in a bar along the bottom; typing exact sizes and keyboard shortcuts are desktop-only.
Templates
Only layouts that fit your drawer, resized to your measurements. Choosing one replaces your current layout, so start there.
Split Row / Split Col
HVDivide a compartment into two rows (front to back) or two columns (side by side).
Drag dividers
Resize the spaces on both sides. Dividers snap to 1/16", nothing goes under 2", and on desktop you can click a size to type it.
Equalize
EMake every compartment in a row or column the same size. Locked ones keep theirs.
Flip
FMirror the whole layout left to right, for a drawer on the other side of the range.
Lock
LFreeze a compartment's size while you change the ones around it.
Labels
Flatware, Knives, Utensils, Spice Jars and more, or write your own.
Grid Layout
Start from an even grid of columns and rows, then adjust any divider.
Delete & Clear All
DelDelete merges a compartment into its neighbour. Clear All starts over, and Undo brings it back.
Undo & Redo
⌘Z⇧⌘ZUp to 50 steps back. Use Ctrl instead of ⌘ on Windows.
View in 3D
Turn it, zoom in and see it in your wood, anytime.

The same four steps you'll follow in your portal.
You design every drawer, confirm your measurements and check out.
We review every design, usually within 1–2 business days. If something could work better, we'll leave a note so you can adjust it.
Your organizer is handcrafted in our shop and finished with food-safe oil.
It arrives finished and ready to use. Just drop it in the drawer.
Built to fit your drawer
Enter exact inside measurements, rounded down to the nearest 1/16". The clearance is built in, so there's nothing to add.

Yes, the whole designer works on a phone. For fine-tuning, a laptop or desktop gives you more room, and typing exact sizes and keyboard shortcuts are desktop-only.
No. Start from a template (flatware, knives, spices or cooking utensils) or from one of our recent builds. You'll only see layouts that fit your drawer, and they resize to your exact measurements. Then change anything you like.
Every divider snaps to 1/16". Drag dividers by hand, or on desktop, click a compartment's size and type an exact number.
Yes. Start from a Knives or Spices template. For a knife block, you choose how many knives it holds and how many wider slots you need for chef's knives with a wide heel, and the drawer needs to be at least 17 5/8" long, front to back. Spice ramps need about 3 1/4" of clearance above the drawer bottom, and the designer walks you through checking it.
Yes. Every drawer has a 3D view in the wood you picked. It's an illustrative preview, so natural wood grain and tone vary on your finished piece. You can also download a PDF of your layouts.
Message us from inside the designer. You'll talk to Sean or Zach, the people who build it. And we review every design before a single board is cut.
We review your design, usually within 1–2 business days. If something could work better, we'll leave a note on that drawer and you can adjust it. Then it goes to the shop, gets handcrafted and finished with food-safe oil, and ships ready to use.
Until it's approved, yes. After that, message us. The sooner the better, because once it's in the shop we can't change it.
